A Full Day of Yoga Taking a Deep Dive

Start the day with meditation, followed by an extended yoga class that includes some classic yoga breathing practices. After a break take a workshop with Mina, then another break followed by another workshop with Oren. Finish the day with a deep meditation session and a closing talk and some chanting. Experience a rich and full day that is all about yoga.

Workshop # 1 〜 Born This Way: Playing with Proportions with Mina

Some yoga postures are easier to approach for certain body proportions than others. But our dear vessel with its specific ratio to arm, leg, and torso length is all we have – so let's embrace it! In this workshop, we use props in and against our favor to playfully approach our unique proportions and deepen our appreciation for what our bodies can and cannot do. This workshop is led by Mina.

Workshop # 2 〜 Alignment, what is it good for with Oren

Oren will introduce the concept of alignment and how we can apply it in our yoga practice in a way that maximized the benefits of Asana practice. Alignment is often used as a tool for making a pose look a certain way, however this workshop is all about what is most functional. We will explore some common shapes used in yoga postures and experiment with different patterns of alignment. This workshop is led by Oren.

Meet the Teachers

Oren has been a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga for almost two decades, teaching full time for more than 10 years. He has have traveled all over the world to study and practice with some of the great yoga masters of our time and spent long stretches of time in India practicing intensively and deepening his understanding of yoga in all its facets. Oren’s style of teaching is gentle, kind and caring. His approach is non-dogmatic, open-minded, based on yoga being adapted to the individual’s needs and capacities and not the other way around. Oren guides people in a process of self-inquiry in which they arrive at their own insights instead of being told how they should feel.

Mina has been practicing yoga since 2009 and teaching since 2013. Her style is informed by her dance background, the voice of the earth as well as the encounter with each and every student. Mina links breath and movement in mindful, heart-warming and empowering ways. Her passion is to create a space in which the students can learn to access their own inner wisdom. She is a E-RYT 500 as well as a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher. In 2016 she opened her own studio in Dakar Senegal, and is teaching in Berlin since 2019. Mina has completed numerous yoga workshops with renowned yoga teachers such as Meghan Currie, Elena Brower, Kali Ray and Cyndi Lee. She is also a certified Yoga Therapist with The Yoga Therapy Institute in the Netherlands.​
