Clay Workshop: Blindfolded Sculpting

  • INES 46 Falckensteinstraße Berlin, BE, 10997 Germany (map)

Hosted by Thuli Wolf

Enter the mystical realm of clay and let your hands guide you on your creative journey. Shut down your inner art critic by working blindfolded. This workshop is specifically designed to unleash your intuition and help you gain better understanding of yourself. Come and Create.

Do you feel under the spell of your inner critic?

This explorational workshop is designed to help you let go of perfectionism and gain access to your inner ideas. It allows you to experience the grounding effect of clay - a natural material that comes from a depth of thousand meters below the earth. The touch of the clay enables you to sharpen your perception of your artwork and on every day experiences which can lead you to a better understanding of your emotional needs.

The healing powers of clay have been used throughout history in different cultures all over the world. Blindfolded Sculpting is an invitation to sharpen your senses, practice mindfulness and dive deep into your creative flow.

After getting to know your material, you will engage in a playful partner exercise and then continue creating your masterpiece. What happens when you are deprived of the visual and focus more on touch - one of the fundamental human experiences?

Whether you are an experienced artist or an absolute beginner: every form of expression is appreciated. No artistic skills required! This is not a therapy session but rather a playful get-together.
