Yoga & Ayurveda Hormone Balance Retreat

August 30th - September 1st, 2024 • Brandenburg, Germany

A retreat for restoring hormonal balance with Yoga and Ayurveda in Brandenburg's scenic Schörfheide

Whether you are in (peri-)menopause or have problems with your cycle, the applied, millennia-old knowledge of yoga and Ayurveda can help you bring your hormones back into balance and your well-being.

This retreat offers practical tools for a better female quality of life paired with a little break in the country where you can unwind with delicious Ayurvedic-organic food in the beautiful Brandenburg Schörfheide.

Hormone health thought holistically: Yoga & Ayurveda

According to Ayurveda, the ancient holistic Indian medical knowledge (translated as "the knowledge of life"), health is based on 4 pillars: lifestyle (vihar), nutrition (ahar), sleep (nidra) and energy management (brahmacharya). .

In the various Ayurvedic workshops and yoga sessions, we devote ourselves to these 4 pillars from the perspective of female hormonal health, so that each participant can build their own foundation for female health and adapt it to their own needs.

If necessary, individual appointments or Ayurvedic consultations are also possible (at an additional cost).

Accommodation

Simply “being able to be” is part of the holistic concept at Naturhaus Schorfheide. This includes a natural environment in the sense of healthy living, healthy exercise and healthy, natural food.

The rooms are designed as charming little farm rooms. Each room has its own character and invites you to relax thanks to its simplicity. In total there are three and a half shared bathrooms and two atmospheric lounges as well as a wood-fired sauna.

The yoga/seminar room is a 6 meter high, light-flooded room and the heart of the nature house. The outdoor terrace also offers the opportunity to move yoga and workshops outside.

Nourishment

The daily menu aims for balance and equilibrium: honoring the connection between the ingredients and the earth; a balance between tradition and innovation, health and enjoyment. Seasonal, as local as possible, deeply nourishing and full of joy.

Location

The Schorfheide impresses with its spaciousness and breathtaking sunsets. The forest borders the three edges of the village and is ideal for walks - the Schorfheide is part of the UNESCO-protected Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve and the second largest contiguous forest area in Germany.

Meet your hosts

Linda

Linda is a yoga teacher, Ayurvedic yoga specialist and yoga therapist for hormone balance.

Due to her own hormonal problems (amenorrhea), she began to delve deeper into the hormonal system more than 15 years ago. A few hundred cycles and further training (including Ayurveda for (perio-)menopause and hormonal yoga) later, she is of the opinion that we women should do more to improve our problems naturally and, above all, should do one thing: talk about it!

Leah

Leah first found her way into the world of cooking for retreats as a yoga teacher and practitioner. It was while attending retreats that she realized her calling to support people in their spiritual practice through food.

After professional training in Italy, she began integrating mindfulness and spiritual practices into her cooking and learning more about food systems and the context of health. For her, the journey begins long before the food is served, and each step influences the dish and its impact.
