About the location

NONNA Hof is nestled in the idyllic countryside of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, just two hours from Berlin. This spacious 420m² house, with its light-filled rooms and beautiful old wooden floors, radiates with warmth and coziness. Numerous windows throughout the house offer picturesque views of the surrounding countryside, bringing the beauty of nature into every room.

How to get there:

  • BY TRAIN - from Berlin, take RE3 train to Ducherow station. From the station, you can reach NONNA Hof by car (takes around 10 min.) or by bike (takes around 30 min.). You can book either a taxi or a shuttle.

  • BY CAR - Address: Dorfstraße 38, 17379 Altwigshagen, Germany.

 

Food

This retreat includes vegan and vegetarian meals crafted from seasonal ingredients to warm and energize your body. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared by a talented chef, Vicky, providing balanced nutrition that enhances your vitality and brings comfort during the cold winter days. Every meal is designed to support and nourish you from the inside out.

Meet the team

  • Leda Fay is a Yoga Alliance certified (RYT800+) yoga teacher based in Berlin. She was trained in hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative, clinical somatics, myofascial release, gong, sound meditation as well as in yogic and Buddhist philosophy. With a background in both natural sciences and religious studies, Leda combines ancient spiritual teachings with modern knowledge of the human body and psyche. As a passionate storyteller, she uses myth and symbolic thought to convey the deeper message of yoga, teaching you how to live yoga on and off the mat.

  • Fanny is a Berlin-based yoga teacher specialized in yoga therapy, devoted to supporting women with menstrual disorders, including conditions such as endometriosis. She began her teaching journey in 2017 after completing her first yoga training and has since continued to deepen her knowledge through further trainings, reading, and self-study. Her journey has also taken her to India, where she spent four months in Kerala studying Ayurvedic medicine. In 2022, she returned to India for six months, assisting senior teachers in a Yoga Teacher Training (TTC). Fanny’s diverse life experiences have profoundly enriched and shaped her teaching style, and she remains an ever-curious and dedicated student of yoga.

  • Kornelia is an experienced physiotherapist with an in-depth knowledge of human biomechanics. She has a holistic approach and works mainly with deep tissue massage, classical, relaxing, sports and Chinese bubble massage.
