Hips, hamstrings and forward folds

In this immersive 2,5 hr workshop you will learn how to safely increase and develop flexibility and strength. We will focus on front and middle splits and deep forward folds. Using different techniques you will learn how to find more ease and safely elongate hamstrings and free up tightness in the hips. The workshop is hosted by Andrea Pehar.

We will cover:

+ basic anatomy of the hips, hamstrings, poses, glutes

+ kriya for hip tension release

+ benefits and restrictions of the hips / hamstrings connection

+ connection with hips, pelvis and jaw

Hips store blocked energy so working deeply to open the hips can also increase lot of energy and feel you energised. We will explore a variety of different ways to work on opening of hamstrings with special focus on splits.

In this workshop we will cover 3 peak poses from each group of asanas ( hips, hamstrings and forward folds) prepared in many different techniques and flows inspired by mobility, flexibility, yoga asana, functional fitness.

Workshop is suitable to all levels and you will get a lot of insights that you can use it in your yoga practice.

We will finish workshop with meditation and final relaxation.
