EROS HERBALISM: APHRODISIACS 101

  • Other Nature 79 Mehringdamm Berlin, BE, 10965 Germany (map)

“Eros Herbalism: Aphrodisiacs 101” is an introduction to aphrodisiac plant medicine, where we will talk about aphrodisiac herbs, their properties, ethical harvesting and use.

Aphrodisiac herbs are not just herbs that make you horny: they have many properties that help the mind body holistically into achieving a more grounded and sensual connection to the body, and explore eros and libido. Narumi will introduce you and talk about some of their favorite aphrodisiac herbs, and we will get our hands “dirty” by making our own aphrodisiac elixir! You will be able to choose the herb combo that speaks the most to you, and learn the basics of making a tincture (alcohol based) and an oxymel (vinegar based).

Herbs, vodka, agave syrup and apple cider vinegar are provided, you only need to bring your gorgeous self, your journal and a 250ml glass jar. If you'd like to work with a different menstruum (for example rum, or honey, I´d suggest you bring some from home).

Narumi is a eurasian queer person, a herbalism student, area scientist, researcher and educator specializing on herbalism for eros and sexual wellness.

In their work they allign their social and spiritual activism by integrating queer feminist and post-colonial scholarship into a grassroots approach to herbal medicine and spirituality.

Narumi founded Eros and Botany, an educational project and an intentional space for BIPOC and queer folks that shares knowledge on herbal care for pelvic health, embodiment and decolonization of sexuality.
