Decolonizing Sexuality Through Herbalism

This Workshop will take place ONLINE.

The understanding of our sexuality, our desires, our erotic stimulations comes from the exploration of our psyche, memories and sensations, allowed by psychosomatic embodiment.

Our sexuality is though strongly impregnated by colonial and patriarchal ideologies of binary sexuality, and that limits the exploration of the eros, as well as our sexual expression.

Therefore, in order to access the full spectrum of our desires, we need to be embodied and to release colonial manifestations of our sexuality. Herbalism helps in navigating this intellectual, yet very somatic quest as one of the most ancestral ways to reconnect with nature - and our truest, kinkiest nature. In this workshop we will learn how we can work with plant medicine to find deeper embodiment, to explore love, eros and sex out of normative ways, and integrate plant medicine in our daily life, rituals and sexy times- and yes, we will learn lots about aphrodisiacs!

Narumi is a Eurasian queer human being, a certified pelvic steam facilitator, herbalism student, area scientist, researcher and writer, specializing on herbalism for eros and sexual wellness.

In their work they allign their social and spiritual activism by integrating queer feminist and post-colonial scholarship into a grassroots approach to herbal medicine and spirituality.

Narumi founded Eros and Botany, an educational project and an intentional space for BIPOC and queer folks that educates on herbal care for pelvic health, embodiment and decolonization of sexuality.
