Church of Interbeing is a Berlin-based collective creating community rituals to reconnect with ourselves, each other, and all life.
They organize a non-religious weekly gathering at a beautiful church in Berlin which weave silence, meditation, movement, dialogue and voice into a co-created tapestry of connection and sacred space. Since January 2022, they've held a free, open, donation-based Sunday service nearly every week.
The church is a collective experiment in creating a new form of place-based community ritual that honors ancient principles of ceremony while respecting individual freedom, plurality, and care for the many ways to see the world.
Funds raised by ticket sales for this dance will be donated to support the Church of Interbeing.
What to expect
Liberate into the here and now through this 5 Rhythms Dance Meditation. In this class movement becomes the medicine, the meditation and the metaphor.
BODY WAVES playfully evoke high and deep physical presence through passionate dancing and powerful music. Let yourself be guided into a deepening relationship with your outer and inner body, with your self and your life, creating many moments to still the mind through movement.
About Oliver
OLIVER is an accredited 5Rhythms teacher, trained in New York City by 5 Rhythms founder Gabrielle Roth and her son Jonathan Horan. His background includes sacred movements and seated meditation in the direct lineage of G.I. Gurdjieff and a dedicated yoga practice (Teacher Certified by Richard Freeman). Oliver also is a musician. He has been based in Berlin and New York City, teaching the 5Rhythms and running his own business.
