P R I M I T I V K O L L E K T I V presents ‘Sustainability, Circularity & Herbalism’, a series of workshops in collaboration with Isla Coffee Berlin.
The series is focused on sharing traditional, environmental and practical insights within herbalism in the prevention of waste. We work with raw and wild ingredients, processed with our hands and aimed at empowering others to restore their own well-being and live sustainably through practical skills rooted in primitive wisdom.
Mead and Shrubs are ancient brewed beverages and can be described as a link between nature and culture. In this workshop we study these links, tasting exciting variations and creating a micro-batch Mead (alcoholic) or Shrubs (non-alcoholic), infused with local medicinal honey, herbs and fruits.
The workshops will be taught in English (with German translation)

Tash (Avant Garden Herbalist, Cook, Forager, Artist) and Siobhán (Designer-maker, Urban Gardener) collaborate with their experience as educators in herbalism, food, art and craft. We seek to share ancestral knowledge and bring people back to their roots and essentially back to nature. We are passionate about the therapeutic and craft uses of plants and herbs in the prevention of waste and preservation of our planet. Through the project, we aim to empower people to restore their own wellbeing and live sustainably through practical skills rooted in primitive wisdom.
